“Protecting cows is our dharma; it preserves India’s cultural heritage, supports agricultural sustainability, and strengthens the bond between humans and nature.”

Jane Miller

Jararudham Gau Abhyaranya was established on September 7, 2016, in the peaceful area of Jararudham, Magron, Batiyagarh, Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. The sanctuary was created under the guidance of Honourable Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, who envisioned a safe haven for stray cows. His leadership has been essential in bringing this vision to life, offering a caring environment for numerous cows in need

Today, this vision has expanded across 300 acres of hilly and previously infertile land, providing shelter and care for over 2,000 stray cows. In addition to our animal welfare efforts, we have created direct employment opportunities for more than 50 local villagers, contributing to the community’s economic well-being
